As 75% of our sales are in the budget (sub 200) end of the market, Cyclescheme has given us a great opportunity to allow customers, who normally wouldn't ever dream of buying a more expensive machine, the chance to experience the difference riding a quality bike can make. Take for example the quote from a 50+ year old man who has just brought his 6 week old Marin back for its after-sales check-up...."Before I bought that bike I thought that a bike was just a bike. I can't believe how different it is to any other bikes I have ridden. It's much lighter, more responsive and very comfortable." With the uptake in Cyclescheme beginning to increase in our area we are now finding it much easier to encourage customers to think in terms of 500 as an entry level bike, and, with the canny Ulsterman being of the perception that the government is part-funding the bike, we are looking forward to driving up our average price-point
