Re: Cyclescheme/ The Highland Council Bikes to Work Scheme
The Highland Council contracted with Cyclescheme to administer a Bike to Work scheme in May 2006. The scheme ran for two months (longer than envisaged) and proved very popular with our 12 000 employees. This was due in no small measure to the excellent support offered by Cyclescheme throughout.
Our Employees found the system easy to use, and it was this high quality customer experience which demonstrated that Cyclescheme knew their market very well and were committed bikes people rather than simply a finance driven operation. Using local bike shops as the source of product is key to this, and there have been numerous examples of excellent service through customer feedback.
Cyclescheme were excellent partners in the day to day administration of the scheme, and took real trouble to relate what they did to The Highland Council's unique area. Any questions, issues or problems were dealt with quickly and inclusively. We never felt that we were on our own.
I would recommend Cyclescheme to any Organisation who wants to reap the benefits of a bike to work scheme. Feedback has been excellent from our Staff, there are real benefits to The Council and local retailers have benefited from much new business. Everybody wins!
