The weekend of 21st -23rdJune will see the city of Bath play host to the second annual Bike Bath cycling event.
Starting and finishing at the Recreation Ground (home of Bath Rugby) the marked routes will take in many of the historic and beautiful sites in around the World Heritage city – including the new Two Tunnels shared use path which passes through 2 former railway tunnels. The Bike Bath team are keen for riders of all abilities to enjoy the fantastic countryside that is accessible within just minutes of the start. There's no urban sprawl in Bath so Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the Cotswolds, are literally on your doorstep.
Cyclescheme is proud to once again support the shortest of the 4 marked rides – the 20-mile Cyclescheme Commuter Challenge – on Saturday 22nd June. Designed specifically for riders to enjoy their first sportive the route is ideal for those considering commuting to work. Plus, the Cyclescheme team will be on hand to offer advice, support and encouragement along the way and at our Cyclescheme Roadshow at Bath Recreational Ground.
For those more experienced riders, 30, 60 and 100-mile routes will also head off from the Recreation Ground. The marked routes will have feed stations along the way as well as roving mechanics and first aiders.
Once you’ve finished your ride there will be food from Michelin starred chef, Rob Clayton, and a well deserved drink at the Bath Rugby Clubhouse.
