Turn just one cycle ride into a fundraiser for national charity, the Willow Foundation and help improve the quality of life for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds.
In April 2011 former Arsenal and Scotland goalkeeper and TV presenter Bob Wilson, OBE is taking on the physical challenge of a lifetime. Backed by the Premier League and British Cycling, Bob will be cycling 500 miles via every English Premier League Football Club. Throughout his cycle ride, Bob will be raising money for and awareness of the Willow Foundation, a national charity that fulfils quality of life experiences for those young people living with life threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis and organ failure.
Join Cyclescheme and Grass Roots in supporting Bob and Willow by getting involved in your own sponsored cycle challenge. The Charity Cycle Challenge is a national cycling challenge that aims to encourage everyone to get out on their bikes this spring/summer in aid of the Willow Foundation.
By turning just one cycle ride into a fundraiser for the charity you will be helping to provide more memorable special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds throughout the UK - providing them precious moments with loved ones at the most difficult of times.

Where can I cycle? Anywhere. Your sponsored cycle can take place wherever you choose and be any distance, even on a static bike in the gym. You may decide to leave the car at home and cycle to work, cycle around an area of natural beauty or organise a cycle challenge of greater distance. The choice is entirely yours. All we ask is that all monies raised go to the Willow Foundation.
Timings: Your cycle challenge should take place anytime between April and July 2011. So you don’t need to rush out on your bike straight away - there is plenty of time to plan your ride and maximise sponsorship. Your sponsored cycle challenge should be an exciting event, so why not encourage your colleagues, friends and family to get involved? It’s a great way to whip up some competition between friends and raise valuable money for an extremely worthy cause.
