Award winning bike storage up for grabs (competition ends June 30th 2011)
Cyclescheme and Cycloc have teamed up to offer four of these fantastic units to our participants and website visitors.
The world of bike storage is being revolutionised with an innovative, elegant, and simple solution – the Cycloc.
How do you store your pride and joy when it is not being used?
Cycloc is the answer!
Living with a bicycle is not always easy – booby-trapped hallways and damaged walls can be a source of frustration. The Cycloc provides the practical, smart and intelligent solution to maximising storage when space is an issue – especially true in small city apartments with no utility space. Using the Cycloc will allow the urban cyclist to eliminate the untidy clutter and friction with a simple and stylish solution.
The Cycloc is an award-winning design. Simple in design yet sturdy, the Cycloc is easy to install with three hidden fixings securing the unit to a wall. Created specifically for the urban cyclist with limited storage space the Cycloc has received international praise including several prestigious design awards and now a Eurobike Award presented at the worlds larges bicycle fair in Germany.
Simple to use, the Cycloc utilises the force of nature to keep your bike in place. Just place your bike in the Cycloc and let the bike’s inherent weight bias and gravity do the rest. Beautiful!
Although not promoted as a security product, opportunist thieves, have their work cut out trying to make off with your pride and joy, as Cycloc's security-conscious design allows for a conventional bike-lock to keep your cycle safely in place.
Cycloc's central storage facility marks an end to that frantic morning search for gloves, lights and other accessories.
During installation the Cycloc can be rotated to accommodate bikes with sloping top tubes or to store bikes horizontally or vertically. Folding bicycles such as Bromptons can even be stored suspended from the seat post. In fact Brompton are using the Cycloc to display some of their early prototypes in their office.
As a mark of quality the Cycloc is both designed and manufactured in the UK by Andrew Lang, a London based cyclist and product designer. Manufactured in Kent the Cycloc is now exported internationally. Available in four 100% recycled colour options, you can match the Cycloc to your interior décor or your bike.
All you need to do is answer one simple question ‘how many colours does the Cycloc come in?'
You can answer by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org using the title ‘Cycloc Comp’ and your answer in the body of the email.*
