With the clocks going back at the end of October, cycling accessory company Proviz has expanded it’s revolutionary range of light-emitting products to ensure that cyclists are as visible as possible on the roads this winter.
Proviz has designed a number of unique, light-emitting and reflective cycling products, which take cycling clothing and accessories to a new level. Proviz products stand out as they ensure cyclists are always a source of light and are therefore visible to other road users. Their unique lighting systems built in to their products increase visibility and therefore safety. The collection is available through www.proviz.co.uk and in stores nationwide.
Proviz was set up by brothers Anthony and Rupert Langly-Smith, from London, in 2009. Having both cycled to work for many years, they decided to provide a solution for the many people who adapt their current cycle accessories, by such means as attaching camping head lamps or reflective tape to their helmet, in an attempt to become more visible. As a result, Proviz was born to bring to the market a distinctive and bold range of fluorescent yellow helmets, jackets, rucksacks and rucksack covers with bright, flashing, electroluminescent strips built in. After a successful first year of trading, Proviz has rapidly expanded the size of its range in time for this winter.
Proviz Managing Director, Rupert Langly-Smith, says, “As the dark mornings and early evenings are upon us, now is the critical time for cyclists to ensure that they stand out on the roads. The distinguishable fluorescent yellow colour of Proviz’s products, combined with their electroluminescent strips which create a fantastic light source of their own, make you highly visible in all circumstances.”
The top end, fluorescent Proviz Saturn helmet is the only helmet on the market to feature LED lights integrated in to the front visor (as well as back headring), helping cyclists to be even more noticeable on the roads.
The new Proviz hi-viz light-emitting rucksack has just launched and has been a huge seller so far this winter. People can really see the benefits of purchasing an all in one rucksacks/safety aid and therefore no need for a rucksack cover. It is waterproof (inc zips), hi-viz and light-emitting (removable). It also has a bladder pocket (big enough for 1.5l), laptop, phone and wallet compartment.
Proviz products would also make great Christmas present! Buy now through www.proviz.co.uk Plus, make use of an exlcusive dicsount code unique to Cyclescheme - simply enter 'cyclescheme10' at the checkout and receive a 10% discount! Offer is valid from now until 30th November 2011.
