Local Bike Shop Day opens its doors to everyone, from experienced riders to first-timers.
Local Bike Shop Day is the one day a year when independent bike shops across the UK come together to celebrate their distinctive culture. It's the day for bike shops to showcase and promote the passion, knowledge and personalised service they offer to their local communities.
Today, it is so important for communities to work together to put the indie shops back at the heart of the UK's towns and cities and this is what Local Bike Shop Day is aiming to do.
Show your support
The inaugural Local Bike Shop Day took place on 6th October 2018, celebrating indie bike shops across the country. In 2018 100 bike shops got involved with the second ever Local Bike Shop Day seeing over 150 local bike shops take part in the celebration.
So, when it comes around to the day, pop into your local bike shop to show your support, take photo's and add to the buzz on social media with the hashtag #supportyourlocalbikeshop.
