Cyclescheme is a total cycle-to-work solution, it's who we are and what we do. Because of this we've gone the extra-mile with every aspect of our scheme design and service.
Love To Ride are exclusively partnered with Cyclescheme meaning that we are the only Cycle to Work provider that can offer your workforce a full behaviour change experience.
"Changing habits and behaviour is a notoriously difficult nut to crack. The workplace cycle challenge targets the right people and genuinely encourages behavioural change in a fun and accessible way." - John Nicklin, Senior Pollution Officer, Lewes District Council
Cyclescheme's partnerships ensure great value and support for your employees.
Cyclescheme is a part of Extras, which brings popular Blackhawk Network workplace benefits under one umbrella. It’s the simplest way to offer employees a range of easy-to-administer benefits that support their wellbeing and connectivity.
Alongside Cyclescheme, you can choose to add Techscheme, and Extras also offers a range of on-demand discounted gift cards for employees as standard.
How it works
The cycle to work scheme allows employees to obtain commuter bikes and cycling accessories through their employer, whilst spreading the cost over 12 months and making unbeatable savings through a tax break.
The employer registers with Cyclescheme - this only takes about 5 mins. Once registered they will be able to access free of charge promotional resources to help them publicise their exciting new employee benefit.
The employee visits their local bike shop or browses online to decide what they want; they then apply via the Cyclescheme website. The employer reviews their request and if they are eligible pays for the equipment.
The employee receives their bike and starts their salary repayments. After 12 months the employer will have recovered their costs and generated up to 15.05% in savings. The employee will be given their ownership options.
"I can tell who’s cycled to work because they walk into work looking fresher, calmer and happier."
"Every week I talk to staff who have participated in the scheme and it's clear that it has had a really positive impact on the lives of many who work here."
"I would recommend cycling to everyone, it’s great to see how it has taken off in the office."
"Southampton University has operated a cycle to work scheme since 2010. Initially we used a different provider (Halfords), but switched to Cyclescheme in 2011 as it offered a much wider range of bikes."
"Employees have found this hugely beneficial and have really enjoyed it."

Ready to register?
To sign up, you will need:
You need to be a decision maker and have the right to enter into a legal agreement on behalf of the business or organisation you work for.
Colleagues must be paid via the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system; unfortunately you can’t register if you self-assess your tax returns.
Signing up to Cyclescheme is quick and easy – it’s handy (but not essential) to have your VAT number to hand.
