Save money and spread the cost on Genesis bikes

Genesis make bikes that can do it all and always put a smile on your face.

From commuting and bikepacking, to finding out where that little trail – or road – you’ve always wondered about goes to. A Genesis can take you to those places. The original adventure bike brand, their Croix de Fer is the bike that started the current craze way back in 2009, was ridden around the globe in world-record-breaking time and in its latest guise, is still just as relevant today. That go-anywhere, do everything attitude features throughout the range, whether it’s the humble CDA, or the built-for-fun Fugio.

Designed in Britain, every bike focusses on the needs of British riders. Wider tyres for greater grip and comfort on broken roads, mudguard mounts so that you can be properly protected from the elements year-round and sensible gearing for those short and sharp hauls. These are well thought-out bikes made by people who ride.

CDA 20

CDA 20

Gravel riding, winter training or everyday commuting - our CDA is one mighty bike! The CDA 20 features Shimano's excellent 9-speed Sora levers and derailleurs along with cable disc brakes and 37mm tyres, making it the perfect entry into the world of adventure bikes. The fact that it's compatible with a pannier rack and mudguards also makes it ideal as an everyday commuting workhorse, or winter training machine.

Tour de Fer 30

Tour de Fer 30

The bike you'd turn to if you were to quit your job and embark on an impromptu pedal-powered world tour! The Tour de Fer is built with durable, no-nonsense components that we knew from personal experience are tour/expedition worthy and should last the sorts of high-mileages for which the bike was intended.

The spec list should, by all accounts, read like a cyclo-tourist's wish list; even going so far as to include a Shimano dynamo hub! Expedition-ready straight from the box - just add rider, luggage and a strong sense of adventure.

Fugio 30

Fugio 30

The Fugio 30 is a bike that knows no bounds. Forget gravel. Rocks, roots, jumps, chutes - one flick of the dropper-post lever and they are all fair game. When your riding is this rowdy, you need a paintjob to match - many said we couldn't go one better than our sunset fade on the old Fugio, but we're pretty sure this is it. Underneath the loud and proud colourway is a complete Reynolds 725 frameset. The tubing is mandrel butted and heat-treated, so that thinner walls can be used compared to non-heat-treated steels. Up front, the fork is full carbon to save a little weight and further enhance the ride quality. We've adorned the range-topping model with Shimano's all-new GRX groupset that provides a wide range of gearing from a 1x setup. Tubeless compatible wheels and 47c tyres, along with a dropper post round out a complete package for fun evening rides and weekend escapades.
