Join other organisations taking part in Cycle to Work Day 2016

Cycle to Work Day, founded by Cyclescheme, is returning on Wednesday 14th September for its fourth year. This annual event encourages everyone in the UK and Ireland to take to two wheels and cycle to work for just one day.

By choosing to support Cycle to Work Day as an employer, you will be helping your colleagues discover the joys of cycle to work through:

  • Experiencing a happier commute compared to traffic or delays

  • Improving their health and energy by active travel

  • Going greener by choosing a method of transport which reduces carbon emissions

  • Saving on their commuting costs.

This year for the first time, we have created special employer packs, to help you prepare for and get the most out of the day with your employees. You can register for your pack via the dedicated Cycle to Work Day website.

Employer packs include items to help you get Cycle to Work Day noticed by your colleagues, such as:

  • Posters

  • Stickers

  • Flyers

  • Web text/email template

  • Challenge a colleague print outs.

For each of your employees who decide to get a new cycle to work bike or accessories, your organisation will also save up to 13.8% on your Class 1 National Insurance Contributions, per employee for standard rate tax payers.

Previous Cycle to Work Days saw tens of thousands of commuters hit the streets on the day, with over a million miles cycled. Hundreds of employers have also supported the day, from start-ups like Pact Coffee and Rumble Labs, to large companies such as Amey and Rolls-Royce, and organisations such as NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and The University of Cambridge.

Pledge your support and register for your employer pack now via:
