Cyclescheme is the UK's most popular cycle to work benefit, creating more cyclists than any other provider.

Raleigh is one of the oldest and best-known bike brands in the world.

Established in Nottingham, England in 1887, we’re still based in our home city. Perhaps you rode a Raleigh when you were younger? People often have fond memories of their first Raleigh bike. We are renowned for our iconic bikes such as the Burner, Grifter and Chopper, as well as cutting edge designs such as the Tour-de-France winner the TI Raleigh. Joop Zoetemelk won the Tour De France riding for the TI-Raleigh-Creda team; TI Raleigh also won the team prize, setting a new record for the number of stage wins.

In the 90’s, Raleigh was the first UK cycle maker to mass produce suspension mountain bikes and to market electrically assisted bicycles. We now have a fully equipped range of e-Bikes. In recent years, we have re-launched a series of iconic Raleigh Burners, with the most recent and final replica in the trilogy being the iconic Super Tuff Burner, resonating with older and younger generations alike.

We’re now part of European based, Accell Group who own a collection of bicycle and accessory brands throughout Europe. This partnership allows us to share knowledge, technology and innovations between the brands to deliver the best possible products for our customers.

The increased collaboration between the group brands, particularly in electric bikes, means many exciting changes from Raleigh over the coming years.

Stowaway

Stowaway

The Stowaway 7 is the perfect solution if space is tight and is the perfect size, when folded, to take with you on a bus or train as part of your daily commute.  The lightweight Aluminium hinged frame folds down the centre of the bike and the folding stem means you can really tuck the bike away. Magnets hold the bike together when folded, making carrying easier. The 20" wheels are large enough to be practical for a folding bike but still compact enough for space-saving storage. The Stowaway is equipped with 7 speed Shimano Tourney gears giving you just enough range for practicality whilst still keeping it simple and easy to ride. Powerful alloy V-brakes provide the stopping power and the bike's reflective graphics running along the side of the bike add extra visibility when riding in low light conditions.
