Cyclescheme is the UK's most popular cycle to work benefit, creating more cyclists than any other provider.

Raleigh is one of the oldest and best-known bike brands in the world.

Established in Nottingham, England in 1887, we’re still based in our home city. Perhaps you rode a Raleigh when you were younger? People often have fond memories of their first Raleigh bike. We are renowned for our iconic bikes such as the Burner, Grifter and Chopper, as well as cutting edge designs such as the Tour-de-France winner the TI Raleigh. Joop Zoetemelk won the Tour De France riding for the TI-Raleigh-Creda team; TI Raleigh also won the team prize, setting a new record for the number of stage wins.

In the 90’s, Raleigh was the first UK cycle maker to mass produce suspension mountain bikes and to market electrically assisted bicycles. We now have a fully equipped range of e-Bikes. In recent years, we have re-launched a series of iconic Raleigh Burners, with the most recent and final replica in the trilogy being the iconic Super Tuff Burner, resonating with older and younger generations alike.

We’re now part of European based, Accell Group who own a collection of bicycle and accessory brands throughout Europe. This partnership allows us to share knowledge, technology and innovations between the brands to deliver the best possible products for our customers.

The increased collaboration between the group brands, particularly in electric bikes, means many exciting changes from Raleigh over the coming years.

Strada City Open Frame

Raleigh-Strada

For drivers, cities are hazardous mazes of gridlock and bus lanes. But for cyclists, cities are a playground – every route, every shortcut, every side street ready and waiting to be explored. Designed to take city biking to the next level, the Strada City is built with a double crankset to keep the weight down. With a fast, agile frame and an ultra-sporty riding position, this lightweight bike is the ultimate commuting machine. And when you’re ready to trade the tarmac for the trail, the 650b wheels help you tackle that tougher terrain and full mudguards protect you as you race through puddles. When you’re faced with a steep hill, the 16-speed Shimano gears help you to maximise your pedal power, with hydraulic disc brakes giving you exceptional stopping power as you fly back down the other side.
