Last year the nation fell in love with cycling; with more of us than ever getting on our bikes, inspired by our Olympic heroes. In 2013, we’re encouraging people across the UK to get their bikes out of the shed and fall in love with cycling all over again by taking part in one of the hundreds of Bike Week events up and down the country.
Bike Week runs from 15-23 June 2013 and taking part in one of these locally organised events is ideal for anyone looking to re-discover how good it feels to be on two wheels. And if it’s been a while, Bike Week is the perfect opportunity to get back on a bike in a safe space, take part in a ride, find out about cycle confidence training or discover new routes in your neighbourhood.
A full list of the events can be found on the Bike Week website here - http://www.bikeweek.org.uk/event_search.php - and you can search by location to find out what’s happening nearby. You can also register your own event and become part of the Bike Week family.
This year, we’re pleased to announce that Cycle to Work Day will be running on Love to Ride. We have 7 fantastic cycling challenges for you to take part in.
